Read each clue and type the answer. Choose Basic, Intermediate or Advanced, with Across and Down clues.
Read the clue, think of the word, and type it into the grid. Choose a level to match your maths knowledge.
Tap a square or a clue, then type your answer. The cursor moves on by itself. Tap the same square again to switch between Across and Down. “Check answers” shows right letters in green and wrong letters in red. “Reveal letter” fills in one letter for the selected word.
A crossword makes you think about meaning and spelling together. The crossing letters give you hints, so each correct answer helps you find the next one.
Practise with pen and paper as well. Writing out your working helps you remember each method.
